Planning & printing
Is Teacher Planner free?
Yes. The Free plan includes one planbook, day, week, and month views, and basic printing with the Minimal template. No credit card is required for the Free plan.
The AI tools are included with your account as well, on the Free plan too.
Do I need an account to start planning?
Yes. Planbooks, imported timetables, and lessons are saved to your account, so your plans are there when you come back on any device. Creating a free account takes a minute, and the Free plan needs no credit card.
You can read about each AI tool on its page first; drafting with a tool uses your account as well.
Can I import my existing timetable?
Yes. Upload a photo or PDF of a fixed weekly timetable. Teacher Planner reads the classes, days, and times, and you review the result before saving.
Timetable grids and plain lists are supported. A/B rotations and whole-school timetables are not currently supported for import.
Can I use a timetable from a previous term or school year?
Yes. You can import a photo or PDF of a previous timetable and edit the classes, periods, or teaching days for your current schedule.
What happens when a lesson needs to move?
Use Bump Forward to move the affected lesson and keep the following lessons in sequence. This helps you adjust your plans without retyping the lesson content.
Can I print my plans or save a PDF?
Yes. Teacher Planner offers day, week, month, and outline printing, with Classic, Minimal, and Cards templates.
The Free plan includes basic printing with Minimal. Pro and Lifetime include additional templates and advanced options such as outline printing and custom ranges.
Does Teacher Planner replace my LMS or gradebook?
No. Teacher Planner focuses on organizing teaching plans and helping you prepare classroom materials.
Keep grades, student submissions, and confidential records in the systems your school uses for those purposes.
AI tools
Are the AI tools free?
Yes. The AI tools are included with every Teacher Planner account, including the Free plan—no separate purchase is needed. Sign in, choose a tool, and start drafting.
Generation limits apply; each tool shows its current usage messages.
Can I use materials I already have?
Yes. Depending on the tool, you can provide existing source text, reading passages, assignment details, or feedback criteria as context for the result.
Can I share AI-generated materials with students straight away?
Review and edit the result first. Check factual accuracy, answer keys, difficulty, and suitability for your students and teaching goals.
AI output is a draft—not a substitute for your teaching judgment.
What can I do with the result?
You can review and edit the draft, then save it to your resources or use the copy, text download, and print options available for that tool.
How should I handle student information?
Avoid entering confidential or identifying student information. Remove names, student IDs, contact details, and other identifying details from student work before using it as input.
Follow your school’s requirements for using AI tools with student materials.
Billing
What does Pro add?
Pro adds unlimited planbooks, Standards Tracker, additional print templates, outline printing, custom ranges, and advanced print settings.
Choose monthly or yearly billing.
What does Lifetime include?
Lifetime provides ongoing access to the listed Pro planning features for a one-time payment of $299.
It does not include a separate or unlimited AI allowance. The AI tools are available to every account on the same terms, and generation limits apply.
What about refunds?
A full refund of a Lifetime purchase removes the permanent premium access associated with that purchase.
Refunds follow the billing section of our Terms of Service and applicable law. Cancel a monthly or yearly subscription from Billing before the renewal date to stop the next charge, and contact us with your account email and purchase date to ask about a refund.
